(More customer reviews)Purchased a 4'x8' mat. Very happy with the product and it's better than I would have expected. Bought it to go under a weight bench over a tile floor to prevent possible tile damage. I'd consider flooring an entire room in this stuff after seeing it.

The shipping from this company for this heavy product was also reasonable.

One small change I recommend the company make in their shipping of rolled items would be to use pallet wrap instead of adhesive tape to bind the role before boxing. I found the tape left its glue in a small section. Still giving the product 5 stars.

Coin-Grip Rubber Mat, 3mm x 4ft Wide Rolls Review

(More customer reviews)I have two puppies who stay in 4'x4' pens while I am away from home.They are very rough on the floor and also the pens scrape against the floor when the puppies bump into the sides of the pen.I needed something tough but not hard, waterproof, easy to clean, and easy on their little paws.This mat protects both my floor and my puppies.It is very easy to clean, either sweeping up their copious shedding or wiping up/disinfecting after an accident.It does not slide around on the tile floor.It is lightweight enough that I will be able to take it with me when I visit out-of-state friends, pups in tow, later this summer.It was also very easy to cut to the desired dimensions with regular scissors.On a few occasions moisture (yes, puppy pee) has found its way under the mat; it wipes away easily and did not leave a lingering smell on the underside like other mats I have tried.

One puppy was able to get a hold of an edge and chewed through it very quickly.I have tried specialty kennel mats but they all have interlocking pieces that the puppy is able to pry out and chew, or are too small and I had to overlap several.This mat provided the largest coverage area without a seam; however, as it is I still need two pieces to overlap to get full coverage for the 4' width of the pens plus a few inches on either side.So I still have a seam that is vulnerable for the puppies to get a hold of, rip up, and chew.I am forced to cover the seam with a large pan that is weighted down by their crates.

I was unable to find an adhesive that held the two pieces together sufficiently (sufficiently = puppies were not able to rip it up and apart).I wish there was a wider option (5 or 6 feet wide) so that I would not have any seams; placement of the pan to cover the seam seriously inhibits how I can arrange the mats and the crates and the pens.Eventually I would like to combine the two pens but I will have to find a better way to cover the seam, or otherwise get rid of the seam, before I can do this.

Overall, however, I am very pleased with the product and it has lasted longer than anything else I have tried, and if a wider version was made available at a reasonable price I would certainly purchase it to solve my seam problem.This mat is so multi-purpose that it would not be hard to find some other place in the house where my current 4' wide pieces would be useful. (under the cat litter boxes, for instance?)

(More customer reviews)I actually ordered a more expensive treadmill mat and Amazon sent this one instead.I considered keeping this mat and opened the box to check it out.I can definitely say that it's going back.The material is really thin.There's also a disclaimer in the box that this mat only has a one year warranty, which doesn't cover tears, rips, or punctures.The material is so thin that I wouldn't be surprised if placing my treadmill on it will puncture it immediately.I obviously can't give an adequate review because I'm sending it back for the original mat that I ordered, but I just wanted to give my initial impressions of the mat.Double check to make sure Amazon sends you the correct product!I've read other reviews where customers have received the incorrect treadmill mat from Amazon.I hope it's accidental, but they should have corrected the problem by now.

1. They're durable and springy/squishy without being so heavy that two people or a trolley are needed to move them.

2. They're corrugated, so they provide a surface with good traction. This means they'd make pretty good bathroom or pool mats, too.

3. They have a great surface area that should accommodate most needs.

4. They're reasonably priced.

Although I don't use mine this way, their springiness and shape would make them good equipment mats. They're too short for yoga, but if you're looking to line a larger area for floor exercise or a child's play area, these mats are a good choice.

Body Solid Super Mat RF36T Treadmill Mat Review

(More customer reviews)I read the reviews, debated whether I should order this item, figured the problem had been corrected, and bought this mat anyway. Result: a disappointed buyer. The description plainly stated it was a Body Solid Super Mat RF36T Treadmill Mat with a "lifetime warranty." Actually, it is a Supermat, Inc. product (the box has their location as Elk River, Mn. 55330), and the insert sheet within the box specifies it only has a "1 year warranty." The package itself does have a small barcode sticker with RF36T on it, but nowhere does it state on the box or packaging inside the box that the mat is a Body Solid product. As of the time of my review (2/12/2010), I am the third buyer who purchased this product primarily because it was supposed to have a "lifetime warranty." Three strikes and you're out. I love Amazon, and frequent their site often. I have always rated them highly. However, this should not be happening. The problem could be remedied if the description was changed to accurately reflect the stated warranty within the box itself; also, whether it is actually a Body Solid mat or a Super Mat. Regretfully, I'm returning the product for a refund, and will continue to search for a mat for my treadmill.

UPDATE: 2/25/2010 THE DESCRIPTION HAS BEEN CORRECTED TO REFLECT THAT THERE IS A "ONE YEAR WARRANTY" AS OPPOSED TO THE PREVIOUS "LIFETIME WARRANTY." THIS SATISFIES ME, AND I WOULD RATE IT DIFFERENTLY AS A RESULT. THANKS AMAZON FOR THE CORRECTED DESCRIPTION. TWO THUMBS UP!
