(More customer reviews)I bought a Freedom Spring System a couple years ago.It's the only exercise equipment I have ever used on a continuous basis that didn't end up in the garage after a few months.

I struggle with my weight, and this helps me with other health issues no matter how much I weigh.It helps keep circulation in my knees, which get painful and unsteady if I don't use my Freedom Spring.It has also helped me with balance.

It wasn't hard to put in my house.I just had to make the decision to find a place and keep it there.That way I use it and don't put it away, never to be seen again.I decided that if I have a place to eat, bathe and sleep, then I should have a place to exercise.I am really glad I did, because I know I am healthier for it.

This isn't one of those obnoxious rebounder setups that you see advertised.The manufacturer doesn't encourage the high bounce, which is good, because I wouldn't do it anyway.Because you are combining the aerobics and the strength training, you only need to bounce gently.I was surprised how quickly I can control my heart rate by just incorporating the resistance exercises.

This is great for people that wouldn't otherwise use a rebounder....like me.And you can get really good stretches.After a long day on the computer, I can really relax and relieve my shoulder muscles on this.

I would say this is the most efficient exercise system I have run across. It was worth every penny - I even canceled my gym membership.

(More customer reviews)The 7 workouts included on this DVD are very good.They will definitely increase your body temperature if you put the effort into them that JB asks, however you won't come away sweaty like you've just had a hard workout at a gym.The only equipment required other than your own body is a chair, either for balance or for sitting in a few of the exercises (a couch works too), and something to lay/sit on for the stretching segment if that's what you prefer.

JB Berns is motivating and he reminds you to always keep your abs tight without beating you up about it.A reminder is good when you're concentrating on another area of the body.

Two things I would improve if this DVD were to be made again, however they don't detract from the overall workouts:1) Have the intro segments as a separate menu section rather than as track one in each workout (which can be skipped past to get straight to the workout).This would be a change to make it like the Urban Rebounder dvds and the way they're setup.2) During the intro show on either himself or an assistant exactly what area in the muscle you're working that you should feel the exercise in.That would be helpful to know if you're doing it correctly.

The 15 minute time for each workout is decieving, however I had forgotten that NO workout dvd ever includes the warm-up/cool-down portion in the time allotted. The back and stretching workouts really are 15 minutes including warm-up/cool-down.The other 5 are realistically from 20-25 minutes in length.

(More customer reviews)This Needak "soft bounce" non-folding rebounder serves as my low-impact treadmill.I have an artificial hip and arthritis.With healthier joints, I might have been into jogging and other on-your-feet exercises, since I have the right temperament for them.For 30+ years, though, my joint pain stopped me.I get pain routinely just in the "pavement-pounding" that I must do in the course of my day.

When the rebounder arrived, I placed it in a corner, with the handrail serving as the third side of the enclosure.The open side faces a television/Wii combination, with ample free space between them and the rebounder.

I tried walking in place while watching TV, but the new rebounder really found its niche in my health-improvement routine when I began using it with the Wii fitness game "Walk It Out" (Walk It Out).To play, I place the Wii Nunchuk, a secondary controller linked to the main remote control, in the pocket of my workout pants to register the literally thousands of music-driven steps that I take on the rebounder.Were I to try this on any other surface, pain would stop me very quickly.Using the rebounder, I have had NO PAIN even after really long, downright humid workouts, ...and the game is fun! I expect that I'll also find other ways to use the rebounder for further low-impact exercise and fun.

I adhere to the following ironclad cautionary rules, which I adopted willingly:While on the rebounder, I step lightly, never bounce, to avoid untoward effects on my artificial joint.I am always, always, always careful to avoid losing my balance; I hold onto the rail while on the rebounder.That said, the softly springy surface of the rebounder is making it possible for me to exercise and to have fun in ways that I thought were closed to me.

I cannot overstate the enormity of this improvement in my life.Each person faces unique circumstances, so there's no guarantee that this would work for others, but this rebounder really helps me.

(More customer reviews)I really love this compliation. It really is one of my favorites. The resistance bound is great for toning the arms. Traci really gets you going I love all of her work outs.

Sports Specific bound is a nice change from the others on this video. It kind of gives you that extra boost to finish off the day.

I really enjoyed ballet bound. It was fun even though I'm not a ballet dancer. It really helped improve my balance.

African bound just scared me. I'm not that great of a dancer, and this video made it even more confusing. It looked fun at first. But when I tried it, it was just... bad.

Stamina 38" 4-Way Folding Mini Tramp - 35-1650 Review

(More customer reviews)While this is a good, solid workout trampoline, the word "Folding" is misleading -- hence the three stars.Based on the product description stating "Folds for easy storage", I assumed the legs folded under for flat storage.Not so.The trampoline itself folds in half, but to do that you have to unscrew the legs, then have two people do the folding (for safety, because it snaps shut like a bear trap).Basically, to fold for storage you have to reverse the assembly steps.Again, a good trampoline, but you won't easily slide it under your bed.

ReboundAir Halffold Rebounder Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this unit over a year ago, and despite using it 3-4 times a week it looks and works like new.The only thing I've done is to squirt the coils with WD-40 twice, other than that it's maintenance free.I still enjoy using it on a regular basis.

Update June 2008: I've moved to Hawaii and this was one of the few things I brought with me.Still use it 4-5 days a week and it is as rock solid as the day I bought it.I remain very pleased with the quality and workmanship.The physical benefits of rebounding are immense, and the fact that it's fun to do doesn't hurt either!

Update May 2010:Solid as a rock, still love bouncing on this baby while I check my email before work.I seriously can not remember the last time I had a cold, it was many many years ago.I used to have 2-4 flu/cold episodes per year.
