Kettler HKS Vito XL Elliptical Cross Trainer Review

I retired my ancient and boring compact bicycle (also Kettler) in favour of a Cross Trainer after if became my favourite machine at the gym.I am not a fitness fanatic but enjoy a 30-45 min daily workout and in winter, this is as good as it gets. When it comes to home machines, it pays to purchase the best model you can afford. This Trainer mimics the movements of cycling (upright) walking and stepping in one ... and it goes backwards too!The handles provide a decent upper body workout as well.It behaves like a professional machine, very smooth, quiet and sturdy.Foot plates are adjustable and resistance levels can be changed while you exercise. The training computer display is simple to use, easy to read and informative, it even tells you the temperature!I like the bottle holder in front, very handy.Accessories recommended: cardio pulse set.The hand grip sensors take a while to read pulse and as with many machines like this, not entirely accurate.I use a Polar belt & watch which are very reliable.Assembly can be tricky, reading the instructions 2-3 times is recommended plus a little patience. All worth it in the end!

Kettler APOLLO Inversion Trainer Table Review

Kettler APOLLO Inversion Trainer Table
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
High quality, nice design, good customer service (a piece damaged in shipment was replaced with no hassle). Compared to my old American Sports back swing, on which the nylon finally gave out after 25 years, this is higher quality everywhere, and the curved handles are a handy feature for pulling yourself back to upright position in case you're not balanced perfectly. The only downside is that assembly is not easy or obvious, and the instructions are incomplete and poorly written.

About Inversion Tables
Back pain is an uncomfortable and cumbersome ailment for millions of people. It can strike repeatedly and without warning, nearly paralyzing its victims with pain and discomfort. Inversion therapy is an excellent way to prevent and treat chronic or recurring back pain. This form of therapy treats back pain by hanging a person upside-down by their ankles. The only problem with this therapy is a risk of spinal injury because of the procedure's lack of support. Fortunately, inversion tables remove this risk.
A person can lie on an inversion table, and then gradually turn themselves upside down, always fully supported by their ankles. With precise balance, simple arm movements control the rotation of the inversion table. Special tether straps or locking hinges allow users to stop a rotation at just the right angle in order to stretch a specific place in their back. This technique has proven effective for relieving spine compression, elongating the spine, and reversing minor spinal dislocations. Of course, this treatment is not for everyone. People with glaucoma, very high blood pressure, bone disorders, or a history of severe spinal injury or surgery should be careful and check with a physician before administering inversion therapy. However, with a bit of practice and caution, inversion tables can be your ticket to a pain-free and healthier back.
