Teeter Hang Ups Gravity Boots Review

Teeter Hang Ups Gravity Boots

I tried a couple of inversion tables but found that they weren't very comfortable on my ankles.Note:It is important to only buckle these gravity boots as loosely as you can without slipping out of them for maximum comfort (transfers pressure off achiles tendon and onto heal bone.)You can use these gravity boots with some inversion tables, but If you have the strength/coordination you may find that hanging from a bar (teeters brand) allows for more options (more hip/body movement.)Scientific studies have shown that traction is of questionable benefit, so I never bothered to persue inversion as the mechanism at play is obviously traction. However, recently, after many many years of back pain, I've started a program of inversion.I find that out of all the things I have tried (of which there are a great many), the inversion is probably the most beneficial. It hasn't cured me by any means, but it has provided some improvement.I think one thing to stress is that it is not sufficient to simply invert and lay still.Rather, it is probably much more beneficial to alternately contract the abdominals in a way that shortens your spinal length by aprox an inch or two.As if you are trying to pull your belly button up into your pelvis. or pelvic bone down into your belly button, perhaps? Do this every five or ten seconds. Not only will this strengthen your abs, but it will also fatiuge your stabalizing muscels so as to more fully stretchthe spine (the abs, if not fatiuged, probably limit the stretch, as they are trying to protect the spine and hold it in place.)Also, by contracting and relexing the abs, you are likely expanding and contracting the disc space, moving fluid around the connective tissue (which has no real blood vessels of thier own.)Lastly, by doing these contractions, you may in effect be loading and unloading the spinal ligaments, which might strengthen them the way a bicep is strengthened by contracting and relaxing through bicep curls. There are many people, myself included, who believe that weak ligaments are the primary culprit in many lower back problems (even if bad discs are present....ie, many people have bad discs without problems, as shown by MRI studies.)In my case I believe it is my Sacroiliac joint ligament (si joint dysfunction.) I'm quite convinced that my improvments are not placebo in origin, as I was quite pessimistic about trying this (due to studies on traction that had me convinced this was fairly futile.)In addition to the abdominal contractions, I'd also reccomend dofull inverted situps, hula type hip rotations while inverted, try to stretch the front of your hips (flexors) while inverted, and also twisting and side bending motion. It is probable that all this motion and stretching while inverted ads flexibility and elasticity to the connective tissue as well as moves fluid around.I invert twice a day for ten minutes each time.

Yaktrax Pro Traction Cleats for Snow and Ice Review

Yaktrax Pro Traction Cleats for Snow and Ice

bought 2 pairs for my walking partner and self. They are awesome! We tried cheaper versions last winter and spent most of the time trying to keep them on our shoes. The YAKTRAX pro has a strap over the toes helps keep them in place. We walk on ice, snow, shoveled walks, streets and they keep you from slipping.Be careful on tile or flooring in your house - then they are slippery. One of us had shoes with an opening in the sole that created a pocket for snow build up - once the shoes were changed to a flatter bottom - no more build up.I love them and considering the cost of an injury without them think they are well worth the money.

Nubax Trio Back Pain Reliever Review

Nubax Trio Back Pain Reliever
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I have had back pain in the past, and even surgery for 2 heriatied disks in my lower back about 8 years ago (with a VERY positive outcome), and I'm only 48.Sciatica pain, but not from an injury. Then this holiday, I started in with the horrible sciatica pain and tingling in my leg and got scared. I can't do surgery again (but it was the only thing that helped).

So I started looking for something to help. I researched opinions on Amazon for the Back2life product and found a link to[....] to their review, and what they recommended, and that's where I found out about the Nubax product. I viewed some videos on YouTube and purchased it right away.

The packing of the product in the box is FANTANSTIC, and believe me, this is important.I purchases many items via mail order, and lots of things come poorly packed and damaged. You don't want to spend $300 on a product to have it show up damaged.

The assembly of the product is extremely simple, and it actually took more time to take the parts out of the box and remove the protective packing than it took to put it together.

The quality of the product is exceptional, considering the price and that it's made in China. It really is strong and well made.

It comes with an instruction book and a cd. It is very easy to use, and I feel relief right away. I can really feel the stretch in my spine from hip area to the mid shoulder area.I've never experienced anything like this.
I tried inversion tables, but I get motion sick when I hang upside down, so it doesn't work for me. And I can't afford the cost of going through multiple back traction therapies.

Thank you for bringing this product to the US!
